Read, Renew, Repeat May 13-August 31
Our all-ages Summer Reading program is a hit during the hottest months of the year! Children, teens, and adults can track their reading and summer activities online with Beanstack. Children and teens may also use a reading log available at the Library.
Meet reading and summer activity goals to earn prizes such as free books, items from our treasure chest, or a vinyl water bottle sticker!
For this all-ages program, we'll have cat videos on loop, cat books for checkout, cat bookmarks, cat crafts, cat coloring sheets, and adoptable cats visiting from Hospice Hearts with their foster parents! And, the snack will be cat-themed, of course.
Start 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, a year-round reading program for children from birth to 5. It's a fun, exciting, and free way to start children on the path to success.
For over 150 years, The Urbana Free Library has benefited from the generosity of the Urbana community and library-lovers across the country.
